Barry Town United have won the Nathaniel MG Cup after defeating The New Saints in a thrilling match. Ieuan Owen scored twice for the Linnets, who secured their fifth Nathaniel MG Cup title. The match was played at the Stebonheath Park in Llanelli, with the Linnets coming from behind to win 2-0. Owen scored his first goal in the 43rd minute, and his second in the 90th minute. The New Saints had a player sent off in the final seconds of the match, but it was too late to change the outcome. Barry Town United's victory marked their third win in succession across all competitions, and brought an end to The New Saints' six-game winning run. The Linnets' manager, Andy Legg, was delighted with his team's performance, saying: 'We played some great football today, and deserved to win.'
